In the wet tropical forest of Talamanca, the relative humidity reaches 100% in general. It is one of the rainiest areas of Costa Rica and precipitations can reach 4000 mm annual.
There is no path as us conceive them. The paths used traced by the most imposing mammals, such as jaguars and tapirs. Some ways are only known by some indigenous guides only.
They mark the trees in order not to be lost in the inextricable vegetable labyrinth and to indicate to the other indigenous travellers the right direction. The path is generally obstructed by lot of fallen trees, lianas, plants thorny and vines of all kinds, so walking is extremely difficult.

The Foundation Randy Explorer went to meet them…

This operation was returned possible grace Cantale and Sunny Valley which offered the boots, to the Anglo-American school and Sura for logistics.

Thank you to Anna and this family dad whose have financed transport to Talamanca, and to the Anglo-American school because without her this "Talamanca's Operation" would not have been possible.
