From waste to art

In Concepcion and Andres Bello we worked divides in two
groups. One did plastic butterflies and other banners with environmental
messages for the school.

In El Carmen and Andres Bello we made mobiles. Some with
aluminum pieces, others with plastic bottles.

Ecological gardens

Main objective: Show the kids the basic maintenance of a
garden

We showed kids how to keep clean the garden. We also
taugh them how important is to water the plants when there is no rain.

Waste management

Alajuelita

1. We found out that the place where the recycling center
was goingo to be was changed. We talked to the school principal and she gave us
a new place.

2. We have a workshop with the San Jose Municipality,
they will give us a class related to waste management and recycling centers
management.

Andres Bello

1. We practiced the song.

Vegetable Gardens

Informative signs

We made different signs with all the plants information,
so the rest of the kids in the school know what the plants are for. In El
Carmen School, we did it different due to the kids age. Samantha made a banner
and the kids decorated it.

Murals

Alajuelita

Kept working in the Model Corridor and until the end of
the project…
