Let’s reuze: Art’s and craft from waste This is our 4rth worshop
With this workshop we continued with the differentiation between waste and garbage, teaching the kids that some materials we throw away can be used in many creative and different ways.
For this workshop we asked the kids to bring:
v Egg cart
v Newspaper
v Juice boxes
v Cardboard
v Plastic bottles
With these material the kids created arts and crafts based in the models instructors took with them (finished models also made with waste):
v Turtle with egg cart
v Newspaper basket
v Juice boxes cart
v Turtle pen holder
v Frog metamorphosis
v Plane
v Dinosaur
While the kids cut, paint and create, instructors explained about importance of waste reutilization and materials origin (for example: paper and cardboard come from the trees).
In general terms we noticed that kids were very motivated and liked the workshop a lot.
