Educational tour - El Moncal Farm, Pacayas December 10 2008 · Jan 22, 03:54 PM

During the bus trip we talked to the kids about different environmental issues (deforestation, pollution, water) making a relation between what they were seeing and the subjects we’ve been developing in the workshops.
They also observed the differences between urban and rural areas.
After a snack we started our tour, they saw how the pigs excretes are converted in methane gas and used in the cheese factory.

They fed goats; milk cows and witnesses how worms transform organic waste.

They played in a clean river; which made them very happy and excited.
