80% of the signs are ready. They went through a process that includes:
sanding, drawing, underline writing, assemble and paint with a special product
to make sure they resist Costa Rica weather.

Mosaics

Most of the mosaics have been collocated in different areas of the
school: walls, restrooms, tables, trails, etc. Now we are going to start with a
bigger work: creating a mural that mixes mosaics with painting and represent
our Project.

Garden

We advanced with lots of
¨planting beds¨ where we applied techniques to improve soil quality. We have
planted comestible and medicinal plants, also plants to attract birds and
butterflies. Many of the beds borders have been decorated with stones and
bottles. Changes in the schools can be noticed and soon all these green new
areas will be a refuge for kids and animals.

Waste
management

Kids learned how to elaborate recycled paper. The made many leaves and after two weeks of drying they created
different crafts. They understood how useful is to recycle and reuse waste.

From waste to art

Kids worked in different projects which such as
butterflies made from cans. They have been creative and enthusiastic and also
share the idea of making these kinds of projects at home with family and
friends.
